It all started with a scam.

Like millions of people, TruRex Founder, Loucineh relied on what appeared to be credible online reviews. The platform looked trustworthy. The ratings were high. The comments seemed real. And when she arrived, she'd been completely misled, losing money, time, and confidence in the systems she'd trusted to guide her.

The deeper sting was the irony. Loucineh had spent two decades in global communications, helping some of the world's largest organisations build trust, navigate crises, and communicate with integrity across APAC, Europe, and the US. She had built a career on helping others earn trust and she couldn't see through the noise herself.

If she couldn't, what chance did anyone else have?

There is a street lamp and a sign in the background with warnings in multiple languages. The scene appears to be on a mountain village street with cloudy skies.

The Pivot

That experience didn't just make her angry. It made her think.

The problem wasn't that people were careless. The problem was that the systems built to help people make good decisions had been quietly gamed by fake reviews, paid rankings, incentivised influencers, and algorithms optimising for engagement over truth.

So she built something better.

The Mission

TruRex exists to make the world's best recommendations accessible to everyone, not just the people lucky enough to know the right people.

The Principles

TruRex is built on four beliefs:

That honesty is a design feature, not a value statement.

That is the best advice in the world, coming from someone who has nothing to gain from giving it.

That discovery should feel like a gift, not an algorithm.

That taste is more valuable than popularity.

Meet the Founder

Loucineh Mardirossian

TruRex started with a personal frustration, a moment of being misled by fake reviews that felt particularly acute for someone whose entire career had been built on trust. But what began as a personal need quickly became something bigger: a problem Loucineh heard echoed back from almost everyone she spoke to.

The decision to build TruRex wasn't just driven by that experience. It was validated by it.

Loucineh brings two decades of global communications expertise to a problem that is fundamentally about communication: how people share information, who they trust, and why. Her career spans corporate affairs, crisis communications, and brand strategy across Fortune 500 companies and high-growth ventures in APAC, Europe, and the US. She understands how trust is built, how it's broken, and what people actually need to make confident decisions.

That background isn't incidental to TruRex. It's the reason she was uniquely positioned to see the problem clearly and to know what a genuine solution needed to look like. She understands consumer behaviour, what people respond to, how communities form around shared values, and how to build something that earns trust rather than just claiming it.

TruRex is the product of that experience, built not just from frustration, but from expertise.
